People Processing Plastic procuring previous plastic to produce new pieces.

We are currently working on a simple easy to use plastics reuse station to create one of a kind recycled plastic design elements. The "People Processing Plastic" project aims to recycle and repurpose plastic materials on a local and small scale for everyday needs. The goal is to demonstrate how people can easily perform recycling and repurposing and to promote the idea that no new plastics are needed. The project also serves as an avenue for explaining the plastic proliferation issue. We are also trying to figure what can we make that's actually useful, what benefits from being HDPE plastic that is useful in renovation, everyday life, etc. And, what's easy to mold without complicated tooling or additional machinery? The station is also palletized and its intended is to travel site to site processesing plastics in place.
